Assistant Coach: Jackie Crisp
Coach Gegogeine graduated from Ball State University in 1999 with a Sports Management Degree. She began her professional career working for the Houston Rockets and Comets organization. After two years in the business world Coach Gegogeine realized she wanted to make more of an impact and decided to pursue teaching and coaching.
Coach Gegogeine has coached in Texas for 15 years and has spent the last 12 years as a Head Cross Country (CC) and Track Coach. She took her first Head CC/Track job with Magnolia West High School in 2006 and has also led CC/Track programs at Vandegrift High School in Austin, Klein Collins High in Spring and College Park in The Woodlands. Currently, at Prosper High School where she led the boys team to the State Meet for the first time in school history in 2017. During her tenure as a coach she has 6 District Championships and 6 State appearances in CC and 6 State appearances in Track & Field.
When Jennifer is not coaching or teaching she still enjoys her passion for running. She has completed nine marathons in her career, including the Boston Marathon.
Coach Gegogeine’s personal career achievements include 2007 18-4A District Coach of the Year and 2017 14-5A District Coach of the Year, Assistant Track & Field All-Star Coach for the Texas Girls Coaches Association (TGCA) in 2009 and Head Track & Field All Star Coach in 2015. President of Cross Country Coaches Association in Texas (CCCAT) in 2016 and current Board Member.
